Team Overview    
    
The MMIT Product Management Team is charged with developing, growing and maintaining the MMIT product portfolio that smooth access to lifechanging therapies.  This entails managing products through all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept to sunset. The product management team embraces a market backed perspective, is a champion for unmet needs, and committed to a highly accountable and collaborative Product Management approach.    

Job Description

The MMIT Sr. Product Designer is a crucial contributor to the product development process, supporting the direction, development, and lifecycle of the MMIT product portfolio. The Sr. Product Designer is responsible for overall design of the product interface and managing the client experience. The Sr. Product Designer will work closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering colleagues to discover, define, and deliver elegant yet straightforward experiences that empower our clients to navigate through intricate and rich datasets. The Designer will participate in all aspects of the product development process, including user research, requirements gathering, prototyping, user testing, and deployment.    
    
To succeed in this role, you will:    
  • Collaborate with and be accountable to product management leadership to drive and deliver against the most immediate product roadmap priorities.
  • Translate product management strategy into actionable tasks, thereby guiding development.
  • Excel at communicating across a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Actively champion the ongoing enhancement of product capabilities, the user experience, and product quality.
  • Utilize storyboards, samples, prototypes, and templates to transform complex systems and datasets into easily understandable and interpretable visualizations.
  • Create and refine the design architecture, specifications, and user requirements for the product portfolio.
    

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with focus in User Interface Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Design, User Experience, Product Design, Human Computer Interactions, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio with examples of critical design thinking and digital experience design of complex visualizations.
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in user interface design or related field(s).
  • Familiarity with enterprise design systems and design systems
  • Proficiency with industry standard toolsets, including Miro, Figma, UXPin, Storybook.
  • HTML, CSS, JS preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lead through influence without direct line management authority.
  • 1-2 years of Management experience

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $165,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
