SCOPE OF ROLE
As a Legal Intern within the Legal Department, will work closely with and support the various functions and subject matter experts that are part of the Norstella Legal Team. The work will be varied and in this role as a Legal intern you will:
  • Partner closely with the members of the Team to gain practical insight into the work they are doing
  • Conduct legal research and present to the team
  • Draft employment agreements
  • Get real world exposure to the many issues that come up on a day-to-day basis (employment, commercial, litigation, M&A, etc.), and everything in between that is part of working in a corporate legal department.
This role will suit an aspiring legal professional who has an interest in getting exposure to a number of different areas of the law while also getting practical, real-world experience within a corporate legal department.
HOW YOULL SUCCEED
  • Ability to work closely with members of the Legal Team on the various projects and issues that come up on a day-to-day basis
  • Willingness and interest in working on a broad array of legal issues with appropriate guidance and support from members of the Legal Team
  • Preparing legal research and analysis as needed
  • Drafting processes efficiently and in collaboration with others

WHAT IT TAKES

  • You are well into ungraduated studies in law or in law school
  • You havea genuine interest in the legal profession and getting real world exposure/experience in a corporate legal department
  • You are a strong communicator
  • You are able to confidently work as part of a global team
