The Role:
The MMIT Product Management Team is charged with developing, growing and maintaining the MMIT product portfolio that smooth access to lifechanging therapies. This entails managing products through all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept to sunset. The product management team embraces a market backed perspective, is a champion for unmet needs, and committed to a highly accountable and collaborative Product Management approach.
The MMIT Sr. Product Designer is a crucial contributor to the product development process, supporting the direction, development, and lifecycle of the MMIT product portfolio. The Sr. Product Designer is responsible for overall design of the product interface and user experience. The Sr. Product Designer will work closely with Product Management, UX leadership, Product Marketing, and Engineering colleagues to discover, define, and deliver elegant yet straightforward experiences that empower our clients to navigate through intricate and rich datasets. The designer will participate in all aspects of the product development process, including user research, requirements gathering, prototyping, user testing, and deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with and be accountable to product management leadership to drive and deliver against the most immediate product roadmap priorities.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas to engineering.
- Contributes to design discovery and user research initiatives through interviews, competitive analysis, heuristic analysis, and usability tests; Gathers data to inform product design decisions and rapidly prototypes the outcome.
- Champion a user-centered design approach, ensuring the requested solutions meet the needs and preferences of our diverse user base.
- Proposes and implements UI solutions for complex data visuals.
- Excel at communicating across a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive consistency and inclusion of UX/UI best practices across the diverse and robust MMIT product portfolio
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with focus in User Interface Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Design, User Experience, Product Design, Human Computer Interactions, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates design thinking and digital experience design of complex visualizations.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in user interface design or related field(s).
- Strong UI design and information architecture experience, with a high regard for craftsmanship.
- Experience designing large software product initiatives from inception to rollout.
- Familiarity with enterprise design systems
- Proficiency with industry standard toolsets, including Miro, Pendo, Figma, FigJam, Storybook, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Familiarity with agile software development, UX research methodology, and UX best practices
- Highly curious; Can demonstrate capability for seeking to understand and define problems before pitching solutions
- Material UI, HTML, SASS, JS, React, and jQuery experience preferred but not required.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $135,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
