Job Description

In this role as Sr. Analyst of Marketing, you will work directly with the Director of Commercial Analytics and Operations and the SVP of Marketing and staff to support Marketing operations, analytics, and reporting.  You will be instrumental in providing performance data and insights to your stakeholders in order to optimize our marketing investments. You will also work closely with cross functional teams such as Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Enablement, and the wider Norstella Commercial Operations teams to ensure alignment with Norstella’s objectives and goals.    
 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working with the Marketing leadership team: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various marketing channels.
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing automation team to optimize data collection strategies to optimize marketing analytics output across all channels.
  • Use statistical and analytical tools to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive marketing strategy.
  • Provide recommendations and help for optimizing marketing campaigns and improving customer acquisition and retention, using data and evidence.
  • Deliver forecasts based on historical data and previous outcomes.
  • Assist in analyzing, measuring customer segmentation and help propose strategies to enhance targeted marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, finance, and commercial leadership, to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
  • Present findings and insights to senior leadership, including the SVP of Marketing, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Work closely with the SVP of Marketing to support performance management, including monitoring key metrics and assessing marketing team performance against targets.
  • Partner with marketing leader and team(s) to ensure marketing strategies align with commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with Business Systems and corporate data warehouse teams to define specifications and ensure accurate data integration and reporting.
  • Assist in annual planning and program spend forecasting, providing insights into budget allocation and return on investment (ROI).
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the marketing department and other business units to ensure alignment of marketing goals with broader company objectives.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in marketing analytics.
  • Experience utilizing and/or implementing multi touch attribution models
  • And other duties as assigned

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing analytics or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of the lead generation funnel and how effective marketing analytics informs commercial teams in converting prospects into customers.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, websites, social media, and email marketing.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, and Eloqua is a plus.
  • Understanding of UX principles for designing dashboards that are intuitive and easy to navigate. Including considerations such as layout, color schemes, branding, labelling, and interactivity to enhance the user experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Experience working with business systems and corporate data warehouse teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting annual planning and program spend forecasting.
  • Experience working with senior executives and supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation and data-driven marketing strategies.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $150,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
