The Role:

 
The VP, Real-World Data (RWD) Product Marketing will have direct responsibility for product marketing strategy and execution of Norstella’s RWD assets, products, and services.  This is a highly visible role, and this individual will drive cross-functional collaboration across the Norstella business units, Real-World Data Center of Excellence team, and the Commercial organization to evangelize, drive the go-to-market strategy and support the delivery efforts for the most comprehensive real world data assets in the industry.  
  

Key Responsibilities: 

 
  • Product Positioning – Own messaging, packaging and positioning.  Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Norstella’s suite of data assets, products, services, and methodology for pharmaceutical and life science buyers.   
  • Go-to-Market Strategy – Lead the development and execution of go-to-market plans for Norstella’s RWD suite of assets, products, and services.  Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, and customer success. 
  • Demand Generation - Partner closely with marketing stakeholders to build and execute compelling, high-impact internal and external marketing plans across all channels. 
  • Market Intelligence – Develop a deep understanding of our market and customer.  Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product positioning and marketing strategies. 
  • Innovation – Bring new products, packages and capabilities to market.   
  • Buying Process & Customer Journey - Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn. 
  • Pricing & Packaging – Work directly with leadership and GTM teams to develop pricing and packaging strategies that will help us differentiate and win in a fast faced marketplace.  
  • Performance Measurement - Define and validate ROI (pre-sale models and post-sale analysis) and document client success stories  
 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare or High Science degree 
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing or product management, ideally supporting real world data offerings (Lab, Claims, Prescription, EMR, Hub, Specialty pharmacy data).  
  • Excels in fast-paced, dynamic, high-growth environments with an ability to succeed in a cross-functional organization 
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and synthesize complex concepts into simple, powerful and engaging positioning and messaging 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Comfortable interacting with senior-level clients and partners 
  • Strong writing and PowerPoint skills are required 
  • Results-oriented with a can-do spirit that loves to exceed expectations, meet deadlines, and overcome obstacles 
  • Pragmatic Institute or Product Marketing Alliance Certified preferred.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $260,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
