Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product roadmap and ensuring successful delivery by writing comprehensive requirements, collaborating with product owners, and coordinating testing efforts with QA teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product owners to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and translate them into clear, concise, and actionable documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain a product roadmap and quarterly plans aligned with strategic goals.
- Conduct thorough analysis and documentation of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and enhancement.
- Define user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to effectively communicate requirements to development teams.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate workshops to elicit requirements, clarify business needs, and resolve conflicts.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and potential issues related to requirements and work proactively to mitigate them.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, validate requirements, and support the testing process.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful product releases.
- Provide ongoing support and clarification to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software development or technology-driven environment.
- Strong expertise in writing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working closely with product owners to create product roadmaps and quarterly plans.
- Proficient in conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, and managing conflicting requirements.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks, such as SAFe®, Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with software testing principles and ability to coordinate testing efforts with QA teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
