Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deal Desk Analyst to join our growing team in India. In this entry-level role, you will play an important part in supporting our sales team by ensuring the accuracy and cleanliness of our sales data. You will work closely with the Commercial Operations team to maintain our CRM system and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management Support:
- Assist in the order fulfillment process by approving sales deals, including reviewing Sales Order Forms and other legal documentation (MSAs SOWs, POs) to ensure accurate billing, product, and pricing details.
- Monitor closed sales deals and resolve any order-related issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer Service) to ensure timely order approvals.
- Data Entry and Maintenance:
- Accurately enter and update sales data in Salesforce.com
- Ensure data integrity by conducting regular data quality checks and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the deduplication and cleansing of sales data.
- Learn and understand the functionalities of our CRM system.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of sales records (Credit & Rebills, Renewals, Account Validations)
- Troubleshoot basic CRM system issues and provide user support to sales team members.
- Support the implementation of new sales processes and tools.
- Contribute to the improvement of sales workflows and efficiency.
- Basic data analysis techniques using Excel.
- Gain exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., basic charts and graphs).
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with sales team members and other departments to gather and share information.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a data entry, order management, administrative, or customer service role (preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and functions).
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Excellent data entry and typing skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred but not required:
- Ability to work flexible hours in US, Europe, Asia or other time zones
- Enterprise Software – Saas business
- Basic knowledge of SQL or other data query languages.
